Testing Types
- Urine (Lab/Instant): Most common; detects drugs from past few days to weeks. Lab-based is more accurate; instant provides quick on-site results.
- Oral Fluids: Saliva-based; detects very recent use (past 24–48 hours). Less invasive, harder to cheat.
- Hair: Longest detection window (~90 days); reveals patterns of use but misses very recent use. Most expensive.
- Breath Alcohol: Measures current blood alcohol level only — real-time impairment testing, not historical drug use.
